This is about a year old, but not covered much if at all in the corporate media. Randi Rhodes Interviews Antonia Juhasz on Corporate Oil Grab in Iraq
Obama Art
I was right, unicorns will be a part of the Obama presidency!
Obama supporters have been busy with their creativity, as you can see by this amazing painting. Or, it could be a romance book cover. Either way, it's quite stunning. Nah, his supporters don't really deify him, they just admire his amazing speaking abilities. He looks like he will speak at any moment!
Perino Lies and Then Lies Some More
There is a special Hell for people like "Lava Lips" Perino and her crime bosses.
The Reporter is Helen Thomas, the only reporter who isn't afraid to ask real questions of the White House representatives.
I have some problems with Ron Paul but I do like this video. He has the right idea when it comes to the Constitution and foreign policy. However, he's not great on domestic policy and he is far too religious. (That means about as religious as Obama, which to me is too religious). He would also be unwilling to do what it takes to fight climate change. But his supporters make a good video and more importantly, on July 12 there is going to be a big march on Washington called the Revolution March. I like everything about that. Find out more about it here.
What if Wright isn't Wrong?
This page is now designated (by me) as the place where I will put the more out-there conspiracy theories along with my other seemingly-unrelated string of unusual videos.
I came across this last night and remembered the story from Prison Planet in 2006 of the cooperation between pastors and FEMA. The idea was to get the nation's "clergy" to cooperate with FEMA in rounding people up to go to camps or get put on trains, to confiscate firearms, etc., should Bush and Cheney ever declare Martial Law, which looks on schedule for about 2 -3 weeks from now. Can you imagine Reverend Wright going along peacefully with that scenario? I'm beginning to think we need more people like him and less people denouncing him. Here's the video that explains it all.
The #1 Priority
McCain must be defeated, but you already knew that, right? Unfortunately, it won't be easy.
"We need a nominee that can walk through fire. Whoever we offer up should be able to withstand anything, and I do mean anything." -- Taylor Marsh
We need to fill the White House, the House, the Senate, and the judicial benches with people other than conservatives and other than Republicans this fall. That should be our number one priority, and from there everything else will follow. How best to do it? See the blog, click on the menu bar above.

Elizabeth Edwards has formally endorsed Hillary Clinton's health care plan. I hope she stays safe.
Sign the Petition to Dove
There are serious problems in Indonesia with the forest being cut down to make way for groves of palms to be grown instead. These plants are for corporations who want to make biofuels and get palm oil for other things, like hand lotion and soap. Sign this petition and tell Unilever to stop this destructive practice. Stop Big Palm Oil now before it's too late.
NO END IN SIGHT
2008-04-10 No end in sight on Iraq? Col. Lawrence Wilkerson gives his analysis of President Bush's speech on the war in Iraq & how it will become the next president's problem, and of course, our problem. Also worth listening to: Bill Moyers Journal from April 18, where he interviews Leila Fadel, Baghdad bureau chief for McClatchy, about her experiences on the ground in Iraq. At one point she states that she interviewed American soldiers in Fallujah and they said that they shoot at anyone who shoots at them. The "enemy" isn't clear and she said they are no longer sure of their mission. In an an occupation without a mission where our soldiers are just trying to stay alive, there can never be a "victory". You can subscribe to Bill Moyers's podcast or watch the video here. This week on the JOURNAL, Bill Moyers spoke with Leila Fadel, Baghdad bureau chief for McClatchy, about her experiences on the ground in Iraq.
Ignore the Republican moron and listen to what David Frum says. This is from Real Time with Bill Maher, March 2008.
PANDERING FOR DOLLARS
Former President Jimmy Carter is in the Middle East, preparing to meet with a senior Hamas leader, Khaled Meshaal, in Damascus. Obama doesn't like it. Obama waves finger of shame at him and denounces and then doesn't denouce visit.
